High School / Personal: A 2009 graduate of Ranchview High School, Lynch was a three-sport standout earning letters in baseball (4), football (3) and track & field (3) ... two-time all-city football selection who guided Ranchview to the bi-district finals in 2008 ... served as team captain his junior and senior years, he was also an All-State (Texas) Academic honoree ... four-time all-city selection as a member of the baseball team where he played first base and pitched ... garnered all-district honors in baseball all four years ... the baseball team was back-to-back bi-district finalists in 2007 and `08 ... pole vaulter for the 2008 track team that won the district championship ... member of the National Honor Society ... great uncle, Adm. Q: What makes the Army-Navy game different than any other game?
A:All year, plebes have to say âBeat Armyâ every time they turn a corner.
Q: What advice do you have for those who want to play college football?
A:As good as you do on the field, you have to do better in the classroom.
Q: What are your pre-game rituals?
A:Eat a big meal, light workout right after.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of football?
A: My hobbies include surfing the Internet, watching movies and working out
Q: Outside of football, who do you admire most and why?
A: My uncle. He did well in school and athletics, has three kids and is a good fun-loving father that is very outgoing to everyone he meets.
Q: Why did you choose to attend the Naval Academy?
A:Not only does the Naval Academy give you a great education, but also develops you morally and physically.
Q: What advice do you have for those who want to attend the Naval Academy?
A: Know fully what you're getting into.
Q: What's been your favorite experience at the Academy?
A: Making a lot of new great friends, and believe it or not, plebe summer.
Q: What kind of music do you like?
A: Matchbox 20, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Citizen Soldier, Kid Rock, Sugar Ray, Creed, Kenny Chesney.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Cheese burger.
Q: What do you miss most about your hometown?
A:Being with my family and friends and having free time.

A: My Dad. He really pushed me to work out, and was always someone to catch the ball with.
