Q: What is your nickname?
A: GC, Da Golden Child or Your Favorite Players' Favorite Player.
Q: What's your favorite football team/player?
A:New Orleans Saints/Deion Sanders (Nnamdi Asomugha for active players).
Q: What makes the Army-Navy game different than any other game?
A: The reputation and bragging rights of your entire Armed Service is on the line. The emotions involved, especially for firsties (seniors at West Point) are unreal. It definitely places as one of the top three experiences of any player's life (assuming they get married and have kids).
Q: What advice do you have for those who want to play college football?
A:Do whatever it takes, as long as it's right ethically and morally. Persevere and maintain a great (not just good) work ethic and attitude. If all that is in place and the love of the game is truly present, an opportunity at some level will open up more times than not.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of football?
A: Sleep, sleep is a rare and precious commodity here at West Point. "Bro-ing out" (the act of hanging out with your brothers/teammates/friends. The crazy schedule here makes you appreciate the little things and the people important to you a whole lot more.
Q: Outside of football, who do you admire most and why?
A: My mom, we bumped heads all the time when I was growing up. She acted as a single parent for the longest time and still managed to provide me with everything I needed. Her no-excuse attitude has shown me that anything is possible if you're willing to work for it.
Q: Why did you choose to attend West Point?
A: No other opportunity like it. Literally once in a lifetime, a chance to get a top of the line education, participate in Division I athletics, and serve the nation.
Q: What advice do you have for those who want to attend West Point?
A: Come ready to work and with a sense of humor.
Q: What's your major?
A: Management.
Q: What's been your favorite experience at the Academy?
A:Getting hazed by the upper-classmen (military and Academy traditions). It brings you and your fellow classmates together, because there's no better way of bonding a group of people than to put them in a seemingly impossible situation and watch them succeed.
Q: What kind of music do you like?
A:Everything. Army is filled with people from every scene and background; you learn to like everything.
Q: What is your favorite food?
Cajun Food (New Orleans).
Q: What do you miss most about your hometown?
A:The relaxed environment.
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A:Serve my country as a military intelligence officer and hopefully continue my athletic career.
Q: Would you like to thank anyone for getting you where you are today?
A:Parents, coaches, friendsâ¦any and everyone I've come in contact with to this point in life; because even the people that doubted and only contributed negatively served as motivation and examples of what not to be.
